This is the first time the ICC Cricket World Cup is being held in Asian Subcontinent. Bangladesh is one the main co-host of arranging the opening ceremony. Yesterday which is dated 17-02-2011 (Wednesday) at evening the luxurious and fabulous opening ceremony was held at Bangabondhu National Stadium, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Captains of 14 cricket team were presented there. The 3 hours opening arrangement was superb and awesome. Dancers and other artists of Bangladesh, India and Sri-lanka were performed their on about local musics, dances and cultures to show the world. The Canadian rockstar named Brayan Adams also performed some of his songs including the popular “Summer of 69”. Indian Singer Sonu Nigan sung the English theme of Worldcup.

The amazing and dazzling fireworks along with laser rays made the environment really beautiful. Gallery was fulfilled with the peoples. The honorable prime-minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina, Bangladesh cricket board president Mostofa Kamal, Finance Minister of Bangladesh Abdul Mal Abul Mohit, ICC president Sharod Power along with some other distinguished guest enjoyed the ICC Worldcup Cricket 2011 opening ceremony program upto the fullest.

You people, those who have missed the opening ceremony program, I think you have missed some great things. You have missed the beautiful display of dancers of 3 countries and the cultural specimens with huge fireworks.
